Boys and Girls CC Teams Finish 2nd at NLC Jamboree

On Wednesday, October 5th, both the Mackinaw City Boys and Girls Cross Country teams finished in 2nd place at the second NLC Jamboree of the season. Middle School Girls Shine in St. Ignace

Competing as a middle school team at the St. Ignace Invitational, Caroline Somers, Gabi Bell, Traci Rogala, Carissa Sroka, and Rose Siebigteroth finished 2nd among many neighboring schools with larger enrollments.  Scoring 11th, 13th, 14th, 17th, and 52nd respectively, only St. Ignace finished higher as a team.  Cheboygan girls rounded out the top 3 places

Girls CC Have Strong Showing in Cedarville.

This season’s first EUP conference meet was held in Cedarville on Monday, Sep. 19th.  MCHS girls had an impressive 2nd place finish to a dominant Cedarville squad.  The top 3 finishers for the Comets were 13th-Caroline Somers (24:04), 15th-Gabi Bell, and 16th-Sam Somers.  Competing to a 7th place finish, the boys team’s top runners were
