Mack City def. Ellsworth (25-19, 25-13, 12-15)
MC served at 89% as a team led by Marlie Postula (20/21, 9 aces), Anna Julian (11/11, 1 ace), and Madison Smith (7/7, 2 aces).

Madison Smith was the top hitter for MC with 7 kills, followed closely by Julia Sullivan with 6 kills. Olivia Lidy, Raeann Hingston, and Anna Julian each chipped in 3 kills apiece. Mackinaw City’s setter, Marlie Postula, was 34/36 with 14 assists.

Defensively, Raeann Hingston led the team in digs and passing.

These girls are really buckling down and playing good defense. They cover the floor well, and are scrappy when it comes to digging up tough shots. We strive to get a swing off of every possession, and work hard to give our hitters those opportunities.

Comets JV improves to 5-4, and are 3-0 in the NLC.
