Mackinaw City receives Chocolate Milk Grant!

The Mackinaw City High School girls and boys basketball programs received a grant from the United Dairy Industry of Michigan to purchase $1,000 worth of Chocolate Milk this season. Chocolate Milk is “Nature’s Sports Drink” and we are fortunate to receive this grant!

Hall of Fame Class of 2017!

We are proud to announce the selection of the members for the 2nd Class into the Mackinaw City Athletic Hall of Fame! This years inductees are Jim Yager (Class of 1966) and Gary Bauer (Class of 1955). Both are former standout athletes for the Comets. We will be honoring these two greats at our 2nd

Volleyball All-Conference

Congratulations to both Kayla Gallagher and Savannah Grimmer on earning All-Conference recognition at last nights Coaches Banquet. The Northern Lakes Conference selects 6 first team members and 6 second team members. Kayla earned 1st Team and Savannah earned 2nd Team. Kayla Gallagher also earns Academic All-Conference recognition, which requires a student-athlete to be an upperclassmen

Volleyball District Finals Tonight!

The girls volleyball team competes in the district finals tonight against Pellston at 6pm after defeating Harbor Light Christian last night in three sets. Please come out and support the team. Doors open at 5pm and all tickets are $5 with no passes allowed

Thank you Fernelius Ford! Drive 4 UR School

A huge thank you goes out to Fernelius Ford of Cheboygan and to Justin Fernelius and Beth Bridgeman for all of their help in making this event happen. In three short hours, we earned $2,240 for our athletic programs and the Mackinaw Area Sports Boosters!
